This is just a few words to re-establish in everyone's mind just what I do. I am a portraitist. It used to be all film, but now is a mix of film and digital, because each has it's benefits.

I am at heart a romantic, and my portraiture reflects that. It does not mean that all women are photographed as pretty objects or men as covers for Romance novels. It does mean that everyone is photographed to present their best attitude and image from a positive and easy perspective.

Books that truly have something meaningful to say that we can actually use can be amazing things to read. MY most recent foray into this realm came in the form of a psychologist named Martin Seligman, PhD, who is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. I first met Dr. Seligman almost 30 years ago when I photographed his wedding on the Main Line of Philadelphia. I had no idea that he was in the process of helping to turn psychology and therapy on its head.
