It's a great time in history to be an entrepreneur. People are more open than ever to working with small businesses and start-ups. Large companies are often thought of as cold and impersonal while the small business has the luxury of connecting one-on-one with their clients and nurturing the relationship.
And you don't have to grow your business to tons of people (unless you want to) in order to be very successful. One of the ladies I keep my eye on (Alexandria Brown - the
EZine Queen) has only a handful of folks working for/with her and she grosses well over $1M/year.
The key is leverage. Leveraging your time and money marketing and selling products with residual income. These products can be information products that you create once and sell over and over again or they can be products from any number of businesses set up to provide distributors with residual income. The sky is the limit.
As I continue to write about Red Dress Marketing and what it means to put on the red dress (or "red shirt" for you men out there), I would like to challenge you to create some time in your busy schedule to reflect on if what you do for a living is really fulfilling the purpose of your life. When you find that "thing" that really fires you up and you use that talent to bless others, you will be "putting on the Red Dress" and living your life standing out as the beautiful person you were made to be.
Then start thinking of ways that you can leverage your gifts and talents in your life and business to live a more fulfilled life. For most of us, it's not the money we're truly after. It's the financial freedom to physically do the things in life that really matter. But what if we just started doing the things that really matter right now? Would it have a converse effect that if we do what matters most in life (using our gifts and talents to bless others and staying connected with our friends and loved ones), we might actually achieve the financial success to sustain and grow that part of our lives? Hmmmmmm....
So it's just my ramblings, but these are my thoughts.
Hope to see you all at Debbie Lewandowski's (The 30-Second Commercial Queen) commercial workshop on Saturday.
